Description: This presentation evaluates the endodontic treatment challenges in the elderly. The topics include medical evaluation, CBCT, and the diagnosis and treatment of longitudinal tooth fractures. Objective: 1) To understand the value and indications of CBCT in the endodontic treatment of the elderly. 2) To understand the radiation risks associated with dental imaging. 3) To understand the different types of longitudinal tooth fractures. Synposis: This presentation evaluates the endodontic treatment challenges in the elderly. The topics include medical evaluation, CBCT, and the diagnosis and treatment of longitudinal tooth fractures.
